Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Develop 2D and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo). - Design mechanical parts, assemblies, or systems based on technical requirements. - Perform tolerance analysis and basic engineering calculations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design feasibility, prototyping, and validation. - Modify and improve existing product designs based on feedback or testing. - Ensure design compliance with industry standards, safety, and functional requirements. - Prepare and maintain accurate documentation including drawings, BOMs, and technical reports. - Support production and quality teams during pilot runs or troubleshooting. - Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - 15 years of experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA). - Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawing standards. - Good communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
