ob Title: Production Support Engineer – SSIS ,SQL, Python, Automation & Scripting Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Engineer to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Python, and automation/scripting to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor, maintain, and support production systems to ensure high availability and performance. - Perform root cause analysis and resolve application, database, and infrastructure issues. - Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data analysis and troubleshooting. - Develop Python scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive operational tasks. - Create and maintain shell/PowerShell scripts for deployment, monitoring, and log analysis. - Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and implement fixes. - Participate in incident management, problem management, and change management processes. - Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures. - Implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to prevent downtime. - Support release management and deployment activities in production environments. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Technical Skills: - Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, indexing, stored procedures). - Hands-on experience with Python for automation, data processing, and API integration. - Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or similar). - Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.G., Cron, Control-M, Autosys). - Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). - Understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows environments. - Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 production environment. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
