Position: Warehouse Distribution & Transportation Assistant/Clerk/Supervisor

As a crucial member of the Raipur Warehouse team at RHI Magnesita India Limited, based in the vibrant city of Kolkata, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our logistics and warehousing functions. Your position will assist in coordinating the receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials, ensuring that our customers receive their high-quality products in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the receiving and inspection of incoming shipments, ensuring that all items are accounted for and meet quality standards.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of warehouse inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient retrieval processes.
- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate seamless transportation, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company standards.
- Engage with team members to promote a safe and productive work environment, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist in preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
- Participate in regular inventory audits and assist in identifying discrepancies.
- Document operational processes and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments, utilizing warehouse management systems as required.
- Support the training and development of new staff members, sharing best practices and enhancing overall team performance.

Qualifications

- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred, with knowledge of transportation regulations and inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, ensuring clear information exchange across all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable using various warehouse technology and software, with a willingness to adapt to new systems.
- A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively with peers and supervisors.
