Job Description

- As a Validation/Verification Test Engineer, you actively contribute to all activities of the test cycle.

Position responsibilities:

- It is the responsibility of the tester to create and run test cases (nominal, negative,
- limitations, robustness) to guarantee that the code under development behaves as expected.
- Learn the ins and outs of the project by studying the user requirements, use cases, system, and product specifications
- Conduct regression, integration, and validation tests
- To actively participate in the analysis, reporting, and documentation of concerns
- Work in an agile test environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain subject matter expertise and mentor team members.

Required Skills:

- >4 years experience in Product / System verification: drafting and executing test cases and test plans
- Experience with defect and task tracking platforms such as JIRA or comparable
- Capability to maintain traceability using existing tools between the test plan, test cases, automation sequences, and the requirements
- Experience with communication and network protocols (DNS, Proxy, etc)
- Experience in functional verification of devices using various communication protocols, such as Ethernet networks, Modbus/TCP, WiFi, NFC, and Bluetooth
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Technical aptitude and a desire to learn
- Good level of English
