proficient in multiple skill clusters DBMS Operating Systems and software platforms Software Development Life Cycle Agile - Scrum or Kanban Methods Integrated development environment IDE Rapid application development RAD Modelling technology and languages Interface definition languages IDL Broad knowledge of customer domain and deep knowledge of sub domain where problem is solved Additional Comments We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Developer with 8 years of experience and deep expertise in Java microservices architecture and Oracle ATG Web Commerce The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of Kotlin and basic exposure to performance testing You will play a key role in designing developing and maintaining scalable backend systems for high-traffic enterprise-grade applications Key Responsibilities Design and develop robust scalable backend systems using Java and Kotlin Develop and maintain services within a microservices architecture Customize and extend components within the Oracle ATG Web Commerce platform Participate in system design discussions code reviews and performance optimizations Conduct small-scale performance testing and tuning to ensure system responsiveness and stability Collaborate with frontend DevOps and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Write clean maintainable code and adhere to engineering best practices Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues in production and test environments Mandatory Skills Java 8 or higher - Strong object-oriented design and multithreaded programming skills Microservices - Experience with distributed systems service orchestration and API design Oracle ATG Web Commerce - Hands-on experience in customizing and developing ATG modules Kotlin -
