Job Purpose: Associate Lead - Procurement will develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. This role involves sourcing and negotiating contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations. Responsibilities Procurement Strategy: Implement procurement strategies that support company goals. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Cost Management Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to reduce procurement expenses. Implement strategies to optimize procurement costs. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes and integration with other business functions. Supplier Management Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and conduct regular performance reviews. Address and resolve any supplier issues. Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Monitor adherence to standards and regulations. Management Insights Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on procurement best practices and strategic decisions. Market Awareness Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions. Use this knowledge to inform procurement strategies and decisions. Reporting Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to senior management. Digital Mindset Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness. Key Stakeholders - Internal Techno Commercial teams -HO Internal teams Cross Functional Teams Project Managers Key Stakeholders - External OEMs, materials & service partners Qualifications Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's degree Work Experience 6-10 years of experience in procurement of electrical/mechanical/civil commodities of infrastructure projects Certification Professional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management preferred
