About the Project
We are a small indie team developing a dark, atmospheric horror game inspired by folklore and unsettling environments. This is a short-term, unpaid opportunity. Ideal for artists looking to strengthen their portfolio, gain indie game experience, and contribute to a unique creative project.

Duration: 1 Month
Compensation: Unpaid (Letter of Recommendation provided upon successful completion)

Role & Responsibilities

- Design and create pixel art assets including characters, environments, and props.
- Animate characters, creatures, and environmental elements (walk cycles, idle, interactions, etc.).
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency and storytelling through art.
- Help shape the visual tone and atmosphere of the horror setting.
- (Bonus) Contribute to UI/UX design to enhance player immersion.

Requirements

- Portfolio showcasing pixel art and animations.
- Familiarity with Aseprite and/or Krita (or similar tools).
- Understanding of color, lighting, and mood in horror/atmospheric settings.
- Willingness to experiment and collaborate in a small, indie team

Bonus Skills

- UI/UX design for games.
- Interest in horror, folklore, or atmospheric storytelling.
