Job Title : Senior Unreal Engine Developer

Location : Remote

Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Unreal Engine Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in C++ and Blueprints, with over 6 years of experience in game or application development using Unreal Engine and/or Unity Engine. You will be responsible for implementing complex gameplay systems, architectural visualization, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement complex gameplay systems using Unreal Engine.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C++ and Blueprints.

- Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver robust solutions.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and performance.

- Understand and enhance code and Blueprints written by other developers, integrating new features for upcoming releases.

- Optimize game/application performance and troubleshoot technical challenges.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

- Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.

Primary Skills :

- Proven experience as a Senior Unreal Engine Developer or a similar role.

- Strong proficiency in C++ and Blueprints within Unreal Engine.

- 6+ years of experience in 3D game, application, or visualization development using Unreal and/or Unity.

- Deep understanding of Unreal Engine core systems and architecture.

- Experience with performance analysis and code optimization.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Secondary Skills :

- Experience with Unity 3D and C# programming.

Must Have :

- Proficient in C++ and Blueprint development using Unreal Engine.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Pixel Streaming.

- Experience developing multiplayer and networked gameplay systems.

- Technical art skills related to materials and shaders.

- Test-driven development (TDD) experience.

- CI/CD pipeline experience.

- Familiarity with other game engines or technologies like Unity.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 6+ years of professional experience in Unreal Engine development.

- Strong portfolio showcasing past Unreal Engine projects.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
