Job Description Department: Food & Beverage Service Location: The Machan Resorts, Lonavala Reporting to: F&B Executive Job Summary: The F&B Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient service of food and beverages in the restaurant, in-room dining, or banquet events, as per the standards of the property. Key Responsibilities: - Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating and menu choices. - Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly. - Serve food and beverages as per standard operating procedures (SOPS). - Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and resolving any complaints or issues promptly. - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, dining area, and service equipment. - Assist in setting up and clearing tables, polishing cutlery, and refilling condiments. - Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages. - Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations. - Upsell menu items and promote daily specials and loyalty programs where applicable. - Maintain billing and payment procedures accurately. - Adhere to grooming and uniform standards. Qualifications and Skills: - Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred. - Minimum 0-2 years of experience in F&B service; freshers with internships may apply. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Customer-focused attitude with a pleasant personality. - Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus and service styles. - Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. - Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements: - Ability to stand for extended periods. - Ability to lift trays and move quickly between tables and kitchen/service stations. Compensation: As per industry standards
