Meet Our Team SAP AI Product Engineering is part of the SAP Business AI unit and a key driver of the Intelligent Enterprise. Our mission is to infuse all enterprise applications with Artificial Intelligence capabilities, empowering our customers to maximize their business data. We are responsible for foundational products such as SAP Generative AI Hub, AI Core, and AI Launchpad that help application developers embed AI capabilities into their solutions. What You'll Do As a Full Stack Developer in the AI Core team, you will have the unique opportunity to work on emerging technologies at the intersection of Cloud, DevOps, AI, and Full Stack development. In a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will: - Explore, understand, and implement the latest technologies and approaches for SAP Generative AI Hub and AI Core. - Build secure, scalable, and resilient applications and services within a microservices-based architecture. - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and developer productivity tools. - Collaborate with global teams across time zones using scrum and agile development methodologies. - Develop both backend services and frontend components, ensuring a seamless end-to-end developer experience. - Perform quality assurance tasks, resolve complex integration issues, and continuously improve system scalability and performance. - Contribute to release-level activities, DevOps tooling improvements, and central CI/CD initiatives. - Quickly ramp up on SAP ecosystem, BTP (Business Technology Platform) What You Bring - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 37 years of hands-on experience in software engineering and full stack development. - Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, OOP, design patterns, and software design principles. - Proficiency in programming and scripting languages: Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Groovy, or Bash. - Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and backend services (REST APIs, GraphQL, or microservices). - Hands-on expertise in cloud-native development with Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Solid knowledge of SCM tools (e.g., Git/GitHub) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). - Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Spinnaker, or similar). - Understanding of microservices architecture and modern API design. - Experience in software engineering best practices such as code reviews, automated testing, version control, and security-first development. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for distributed systems. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Collaborative, enthusiastic, and proactive mindset with a passion for coding and problem-solving. Nice to Have - Familiarity with Generative AI, Foundation Models, and LLMs. - Exposure to LLM-based application development. - System design expertise for scalable, resilient AI-enabled systems. - Prior experience with SAP BTP services.
