ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Roles and responsibilities include managing a configuration and quotation application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. The developer's responsibilities also include designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.

QUALIFICATION

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

· 10+ years of proven experience as a Developer on complex web-based applications, preferably in the field of electrical engineering or similar domains

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with expertise in Java, Angular, Spring Framework, CSS, and HTML

· Strong understanding of medium voltage switchgear components, circuit breakers, and relays is a plus. Familiarity with product data logic is an added benefit

· Must have hands on experience using GitHub, Confluence, JIRA and JetBrains IntelliJ

· Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval

· Familiarity with full-stack development, including both front-end and back-end technologies

· Ability to work in an agile development environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams

· Knowledge of responsive design principles to create a user-friendly and visually appealing interface

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure the application meets high-quality standards

· Experience with version control systems, continuous integration & deployment processes.

· Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and collaborate within a team environment

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions

· Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop, implement, and maintain key functionalities of a web-based application for configuring and generating quotations for medium voltage switchboards, circuit breakers, and relays

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, testers, and business analysts, offer data team to understand and refine software requirements

· Utilize Java 8, Java 17, Angular JS, Angular 13, Spring Framework 5.3, Spring Framework 6.0, CSS, and HTML to design and implement robust and scalable solutions

· Work on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience while handling complex backend logic

· Integrate MongoDB as the database to store and manage configuration data, ensuring optimal performance and scalability

· Implement responsive design principles to ensure the application is accessible and functional across various devices and screen sizes

· Collaborate with the test lead to perform thorough testing of developed features, addressing and resolving any issues identified during the testing process

· Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and documentation outputs, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and Drawing (DWG) drawings, as per project requirements

· Stay updated on the latest technologies and frameworks, proposing, and implementing improvements to enhance the application's performance and maintainability

· Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards

· Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain the application in production environments
