Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining solutions within the Avaloq Banking Suite. You will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and other IT specialists to deliver high-quality banking solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and maintain solutions within the Avaloq Banking Suite.
- Implement new functionalities and modules based on business requirements.
- Work on parameterization, scripting, and Avaloq core customization.
- Perform technical analysis, design, development, and unit testing.
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand business processes and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
- Support integration with third-party systems.
- Resolve incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
- Ensure compliance with internal coding standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Document technical solutions and development processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Avaloq Developer or in Avaloq customization.
- Strong knowledge of Avaloq Script, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with Avaloq parameterization and core banking functionalities.
- Experience in developing interfaces (Avaloq Adapter, REST, etc.) is a plus.
- Good understanding of banking operations, especially wealth management or retail banking.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Avaloq Certification (ACP) is a strong advantage.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud environments and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as FATCA, CRS, MiFID II, etc.
