Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Avaloq Developer / Lead to join our dynamic team. The role is central to enhancing operational excellence and delivering key solutions within the FIC Markets space, leveraging your deep expertise in the Avaloq Banking Suite, particularly with Accumulator/Deccumulator (AQDQ) products.

Job Responsibilities :

- Independent Development : Work independently on development changes, taking functional requirements from Technical Business Analysts and translating them into robust Avaloq solutions.

- Solution Building & Validation : Lead and drive solution building and validation for Analysis & Design (A&D) workshops across different streams to ensure consistent and complete requirement and solution coverage.

- Functional Specification : Specify new functionality in close collaboration with Developers and users, ensuring closure on Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Technical Solution Documents (TSD), and Use Case documents.

- Subject Matter Expertise : Act as a functional subject matter expert in specific areas of Avaloq, capable of delving deep into requirement/solution gaps with support from product architects.

- Implementation Leadership : Lead and drive implementation projects through the Build, Test, and Go-Live stages, ensuring successful deployment.

- Developer Support : Provide comprehensive support to developers during implementation, including planning, technical guidance, and testing assistance.

- Project Participation : Actively participate in and support regional and/or global projects, contributing to cross-functional initiatives.

Job Requirements

- Education : University Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Banking, or equivalent relevant working experience.

- Overall Experience : 12+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in the Technology space.

- Domain Experience : 5-7 years of dedicated working experience in Core Banking Platform or Wealth Management domain.

- Avaloq AQDQ Expertise : Well versed in Accumulator / Deccumulator (AQDQ) products in Avaloq and its full lifecycle.

- Avaloq IDE Experience : Significant experience working on Avaloq IDE ICE, specifically on changes surrounding AQDQ products (STEX, ASSET, SECEVT2 business types).

- Avaloq Output Stream : Experience developing for Avaloq output stream (LETTER business type) is a plus.

- Avaloq Implementation : Mandatory implementation experience with Avaloq Banking Suite, including strong ACP (Avaloq Customization Platform) functional and parameterization knowledge/experience.

- Financial Understanding : Demonstrate basic financial understanding in FX/MM/Equity/Derivatives and associated front-to-back operational workflows.

- Wealth Management/OMS/EMS : Experienced in Wealth Management business, Order Management systems, and/or Execution Management Systems.

- Work Ethic : Able to work with a sense of urgency under multiple deadlines, can organize and deliver with minimal supervision.

- Analytical & Problem Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Adaptability : Willingness to learn and able to adapt to different technologies.

Preferred Skills :

- Avaloq Certification : Completed Avaloq Certification training.

- Financial Models : Knowledge of market data and financial models.

- Interfaces : Practical understanding of Interfaces with Bloomberg and/or FIX protocol.

- Programming Languages : Technical competencies in programming languages like Java, Javascript, PL/SQL, Python, ReactJS, Angular, NodeJS, Git.

- Other Platforms : Working knowledge of Assentis (client output management) and Omgeo (transaction matching) platform.

- Methodologies : Experience in working with agile methodologies.
