About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer I to join our dynamic Engineering team in Pune, MH. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable, cloud-ready applications that support our innovative financial solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and testing teams, to deliver high-quality software that meets business needs and performance standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in building robust services using modern frameworks and programming languages, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality. As a leader within the team, you will provide technical guidance, promote best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor&aposs degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 9+ years of professional experience in software development is required, with a strong background in full-stack engineering and modern frameworks. Proficiency in Java 17 and above, including familiarity with concurrency patterns, Spring 6.x, and Spring Boot 3.x, is essential. Hands-on experience with Spring MVC, Spring REST, Spring Security, Spring Data JDBC/JPA, Spring Kafka, and Spring Cloud is highly desirable. Knowledge of Kafka and experience in query optimization within Microsoft SQL Server environments are important. Additionally, familiarity with UI development using Angular 17.x and above is a plus. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for effective collaboration within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement scalable, cloud-ready services and applications using modern full-stack technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in quick prototyping and testing to ensure rapid delivery of new features and functionalities.
- Coordinate coding, unit testing, documentation, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Analyze complex queries and optimize database performance within Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Ensure application performance, security, and reliability meet or exceed organizational standards.
- Implement and advocate for test-driven development methodologies to enhance code quality.
- Work closely with internal teams to identify challenges, opportunities, and implement innovative solutions.
- Maintain compliance with BNY&aposs standard development methodologies and security protocols.
