Job Description About the role We are looking for a highly skilled Telephony L3 Engineer with deep expertise in SIP routing, VoIP configurations, and telephony infrastructure. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with SBCs (Session Border Controllers), OpenSIPS, and Kamailio - along with designing, implementing, and troubleshooting SIP-based communication systems, PBX configurations, and VoIP networks. Requirements / Expectations - Looking for a Telephony/Voice Engineer (L3 Level) to take ownership of BAU (Business as Usual) and operationally help the team manage the contact center. - Possess Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. - Hands-on experience in development and customization of telephony products. - Experience with tools such as Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, C-Zentrix, Ameyo. - Experience managing large call center infrastructure with inbound & outbound calling. - Network certification preferred (optional). - Experience with both Windows and Linux platforms. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to work independently and be available at short notice. Roles & Responsibilities - Provide support for all Telephony hardware and software. - Broad knowledge of telephony systems and call center systems. - Understanding of PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) and telecom carriers operations and processes. - Knowledge of voice trunking (CO/DID, ISDN PRI, SIP services). - Experience with VoIP, SIP, EPABX, IPPBX. - Experience working with SIP, VoIP products, and PBX technology. - Proficiency in Microsoft tools: Exchange, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint. - Manage/troubleshoot escalations and outages. - Create documentation for processes and practices. - Collaborate with vendors, clients, and management to develop solutions. - Respond to IT support requests. - Handle Voice Operations (24x7 environment, including off-hours support). Mandatory Skills - Open SIP-Kamalio, SBC and - Inbound & outbound calling. - Tools: Genesys, Avaya, Ameyo, C-Zentrix. - Telephony hardware & software. - Call center systems knowledge & experience. - PSTN. - Voice trunking (CO/DID, ISDN PRI, SIP). - VoIP, SIP. - EPABX, IPPBX. - Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Exchange, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint). - Vendor management. - Voice operations & off-hours support. - Escalation management. - Documentation & reporting. - IT support request handling.
