We are looking for an experienced Sr. BIE to tackle complex data challenges that span numerous systems and organizations. The scope includes identifying new business opportunities through data-driven insights, predictive modeling, and deep analysis of supply chain patterns and customer behaviors. The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader who can build and deploy sophisticated advanced analytical solutions while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will possess extensive experience in statistical analysis, SQL, Coding, and data visualization, preferably with applications in eCommerce, transportation, finance, retail technology, or logistics. The role requires both deep technical expertise in analytics, as well as business acumen to understand how analytics can drive business value. Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of professional or military experience - 5+ years of SQL experience - Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets - Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results - Experience with AWS technologies - Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills. - Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining - Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management/Systems, Business Analytics or other related discipline Preferred Qualifications - Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs - Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
