JobAlchemy is an AI co-pilot for job applications. We capture work history through a voice based onboarding flow, match roles across platforms, generate ATS friendly CVs and tailored answers, and use a Chrome extension to apply at scale. Built by people who have been in your shoes, we help users apply smarter and faster.

The role

You will design real product surfaces from week one, learn fast, and ship. Expect close feedback from the founders and engineers, quick iterations, and work that reaches users.

What you will do

- Sketch simple user flows for onboarding, CV creation, job matching, and apply steps
- Turn flows into wireframes and polished Figma screens, build clickable prototypes
- Design the Chrome extension UI, states, and microinteractions
- Create clean empty states, error states, and tooltips that guide users
- Help maintain a lightweight design system, components and tokens
- Run quick usability checks and turn feedback into clear next steps
- Pair with engineering for handoff and QA before release
- Tweak landing pages and experiments that improve conversion

What you will bring

- A portfolio that shows strong visual taste and clear thinking, school work or personal projects are welcome
- Confident Figma skills, components, auto layout, variants, prototyping
- Curiosity about user research and a habit of testing your work
- Clear communication, openness to feedback, a bias to ship
- Nice to have: Framer or Webflow, motion basics, comfort reading simple HTML and CSS

How we work

Small team, fast feedback, real ownership. We care about craft and outcomes, not years of experience.

Tools

Figma, FigJam, Notion, PostHog, Framer or Webflow when useful. Engineering uses React and Tailwind.
