UI/UX Design Intern (Figma Expert)
About the Role

We are seeking a UI/UX Design Intern who is highly skilled in Figma and passionate about crafting engaging digital experiences. You will be responsible for designing the entire website and helping us translate that experience into Android and iOS applications. This is an opportunity to work on real-world projects, gain industry experience, and make a direct impact on product design.

The role is open to students currently pursuing UI/UX, Interaction Design, or Human-Centered Design at NID, IIT (IDC/IIT Guwahati), Srishti, or other Tier-1 design schools.

This is a stipend-based internship.

Key Responsibilities

Website UI/UX:

Design wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for the website using Figma.

Ensure designs are user-friendly, responsive, and aesthetically appealing.

Mobile App Design:

Adapt website flows into intuitive Android & iOS app designs.

Follow platform-specific guidelines (Material Design, iOS HIG).

Design Systems:

Create and maintain a cohesive design system for cross-platform consistency.

Work efficiently to ensure design speed without compromising quality.

Collaboration:

Work with developers for design handoff, ensuring smooth implementation.

Present design concepts clearly and incorporate feedback quickly.

Requirements

Currently studying at NID, IIT, Srishti, or other top-tier design institutions.

Strong command of Figma (auto-layout, design systems, prototyping).

Knowledge of UI/UX fundamentals: usability, typography, color, layout, and responsive design.

Familiarity with mobile-first design principles.

Creativity, speed, and attention to detail.

A portfolio (can be academic projects) that showcases UI/UX design skills.
