The primary responsibility is to promote the company’s products or services, generate leads, convert inquiries into sales or appointments, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to convince and influence customers, and a target-driven mindset. Telecallers act as the first point of contact between the company and its customers, making the role highly significant for business growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Outbound Calling Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers from the company database or leads provided. Introduce the company’s products, services, offers, and promotions clearly and confidently. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. 2. Lead Generation & Conversion Handle inbound inquiries and convert them into qualified leads. Follow up on warm leads and ensure timely conversion into sales or appointments. Maintain a high conversion ratio by adopting effective persuasion techniques. 3. Customer Engagement & Relationship Building Maintain professional and friendly communication with customers. Build and nurture relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing accurate and relevant information. 4. Target Achievement Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls, leads, and conversions. Work closely with the sales and marketing team to achieve company revenue goals. Analyze call performance and improve strategies to achieve better results. 5. Query Handling & Problem Solving Resolve customer queries effectively and provide correct, updated information. Handle objections confidently and address customer concerns with patience. Escalate complex issues to supervisors or the appropriate department when necessary. 6. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, follow-ups, and conversions. Update the CRM system or lead tracker with customer details and status. Submit daily and weekly reports to the team leader or manager for performance analysis. Required Skills and Competencies 1. Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and regional languages. Ability to explain products/services clearly and persuasively. Confident, polite, and professional telephone etiquette. 2. Sales and Persuasion Skills Strong ability to convince potential customers to buy products or services. Knowledge of sales strategies and closing techniques. Comfortable working in a target-driven environment. 3. Listening and Problem-Solving Active listening skills to understand customer needs and preferences. Ability to provide personalized solutions based on customer requirements. Capability to handle complaints, objections, and rejections positively. 4. Technical Proficiency Basic knowledge of MS Office tools, email handling, and CRM software. Ability to work on dialer systems, lead management tools, and call recording software. Familiarity with telemarketing tools is an advantage. 5. Personal Attributes Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
