By harnessing the power of real-time data analytics and intelligent insights, our energy-saving algorithm helps in saving a minimum of 15% on the air conditioner's energy consumption. About the Role: We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Head of Analytics to lead our analytics function. This leader will be responsible for defining and executing the analytics strategy, driving automation, building scalable data pipelines, and enabling advanced business intelligence across the organisation. The role requires a balance of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on technical expertise. The Head of Analytics will oversee the full spectrum of analytics workflows, manage and mentor a growing team, and directly partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to enable impactful, data-driven decisions. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to generate KPIs, insights, and actionable recommendations. Job Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy - Own and scale the end-to-end analytics function across the organisation. - Define the analytics roadmap aligned with business goals and product vision. - Mentor and lead the analytics team to ensure high-quality delivery. Analytics & Insights - Define and track KPIs across products and business units, ensuring actionable Insights are delivered to stakeholders. - Provide strategic decision support for leadership and critical projects. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for performance fluctuations and operational anomalies. Automation & BI Tools - Drive automation of data workflows and processes to enable scalability. - Implement and optimise BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Power BI, Looker, Quicksight) for reporting and visualization. - Ensure data quality, reliability, and accuracy across pipelines. Hands-on Contribution - Stay actively involved in data analysis, coding (SQL, Python, MongoDB), and dashboard creation. - Perform advanced statistical and predictive analysis where required. - Translate complex datasets into compelling data stories for both technical and non-technical audiences. Cross-functional Collaboration - Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to embed analytics in decision-making. - Align analytics outputs with sustainability outcomes and customer success metrics. Skills and Qualifications: Essential: - B.Tech degree or a Master's in Statistics or any other relevant field. - 810 years of experience in analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of Statistical Modelling or Advanced Statistical Methods for Data Analysis. - Strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, and databases (MongoDB, relational DBs). - Proven experience in automation of analytics workflows and data processes. - Proficiency with BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, Looker, Quicksight). - Experience in managing and scaling analytics teams. - Excellent communication and storytelling skills. - Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving. Preferred: - Master's degree in Statistics, a PhD, or other advanced qualifications in a relevant field. - Demonstrated expertise in Statistical Modelling and Advanced Statistical Methods for Data Analysis, including designing production-grade experiments, handling large-scale datasets, and translating complex findings into high-impact decisions. - Experience with Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and their data services. - Exposure to IoT, energy management, or sustainability domains. - Familiarity with machine learning or predictive modelling.
