Job Description Leapswitch Networks is looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Hosting Specialist/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud hosting environments, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability for our clients Key Responsibilities - Cloud Infrastructure Management: - Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). - Monitor and optimize resource utilization to ensure cost-efficiency. - Web Hosting Support: - Set up and manage web hosting services, including cPanel, Plesk, and custom solutions. - Handle DNS configurations, SSL installations, and domain management. - Performance and Security: - Implement best practices for cloud security, including firewalls, access control, and encryption. - Monitor and enhance server performance, uptime, and responsiveness. - Technical Support: - Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated hosting and infrastructure issues. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer technical challenges. - Automation and Scripting: - Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or shell scripts. - Develop CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment. - Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain detailed documentation of cloud setups, configurations, and processes. - Provide periodic reports on resource usage and system health. Requirements - Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred) - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent. - Experience with Linux server management. - Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V. - Strong understanding of networking (e.g., load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs). - Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
