At Siemens Energy we can Our technology is key but our people make the difference Brilliant minds innovate They connect create and keep us on track towards changing the world s energy systems Their spirit fuels our mission Our culture is defined by caring agile respectful and accountable individuals We value excellence of any kind Sounds like you DevOps Engineer- Pune or Mumbai Siemens Energy Full Time Looking for a challenging role If you really want to make a difference - make it with us We make real what matters About the role As a DevOps engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the Azure cloud infrastructure for our new engineering infrastructure platform You will work closely with our international development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our engineering applications Additionally you will conduct user training on the platform Your expertise in Infrastructure as Code IaC and software engineering will be crucial in automating and optimizing our deployment processes Key Responsibilities Design implement and manage Azure Cloud infrastructure and managed instance Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code IaC using tools such as Terraform Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI CD pipelines Automate deployment processes and improve system reliability and scalability Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and security issues Implement best practices for branch strategy configuration and release management and version control Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery Proven experience in Micro Service and docker containerized application architecture Experience of Azure CLI PowerShell Bicep YAML commands We don t need superheroes just super minds Bachelor s degree in computer science Engineering or a related field Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud infrastructure i e Azure container services Proficiency in Terraform Azure CLI PowerShell Bicep and YAML Proven experience in microservices and docker containerized application architecture Mandatory Strong software engineering skills in C Plus Experience with JavaScript Familiarity with Azure DevOps Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities We ve got quite a lot to offer How about you This role is based in Pune or Mumbai where you ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities countries - and the shape of things to come We re Siemens A collection of over 379 000 minds building the future one day at a time in over 200 countries We re dedicated to equality and we welcome applications that reflect the diversity of the communities we work in All employment decisions at Siemens are based on qualifications merit and business need Bring your curiosity and imagination and help us shape tomorrow Find out more about Siemens careers at www siemens com careers
