See yourself at TwilioJoin the team as our next Data Science Manager dedicated to elevating our Marketing Strategy with Media Mix Modelling Who we are why we re hiringTwilio powers real-time business communications and data solutions that help build better applications and customer experiences Although we re headquartered in San Francisco we re on a journey to becoming a globally antiracist company that supports wherever we do business We employ thousands of Twilions worldwide and we re looking for more builders creators and visionaries to help fuel our growth momentum About the jobWe are seeking a Data Science Manager to lead our Media Mix Modeling MMM efforts within the global marketing organization This role is highly visible and will play a crucial part in shaping our media investment strategy optimizing our marketing budget and driving business growth We are looking for someone who is both hands-on with data science and strategic in approach You will partner with marketing sales finance and product teams to generate actionable insights enhance media performance and improve marketing ROI If you are an expert in MMM proficient in Python and SQL and experienced with tools like Meta s Robyn and Google s Meridian this role is for you ResponsibilitiesIn this role you ll Develop validate and maintain Media Mix Models MMM to measure the effectiveness of various marketing channels including digital TV radio OOH and offline media Conduct advanced statistical and econometric analysis to quantify marketing effectiveness forecast the impact of future marketing activities and recommend optimal budget allocations Partner with marketing sales strategy and finance teams to translate model insights into actionable recommendations for campaign planning and budget allocation whilst ensuring insights align with broader business objectives Work with engineering teams to build scalable and automated pipelines for data ingestion model training and reporting as well as ensuring the availability of clean structured and reliable marketing data Explore and implement advanced modelling techniques such as Bayesian MMM hierarchical modelling and causal inference Present findings and insights to senior stakeholders communicating complex concepts in a clear and actionable way Stay up to date with industry trends emerging MMM methodologies and data science best practices QualificationsNot all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly Twilio values diverse experiences in other industries and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply While having desired qualifications make for a strong candidate we encourage applicants with alternative experiences to also apply If your career is just starting or hasn t followed a traditional path don t let that stop you from considering Twilio We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table Required 8 years of experience in marketing analytics econometrics or data science with a strong focus on marketing measurement Strong expertise in econometrics and regression modelling techniques with hands-on experience of Meta s Robyn or Google s Meridian packages Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and modelling Proven track record of influencing marketing strategies through data-driven insights Solid understanding of digital and traditional media channels and their role in marketing effectiveness Strong communication and storytelling skills to translate analytical findings into business impact Demonstrated ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences with experience leading key technical projects Preferred Experience with Bayesian modeling causal inference and advanced statistical techniques Prior experience in B2B marketing analytics Prior experience in a consulting or marketing agency environment is a plus demonstrating the ability to apply MMM insights in diverse business contexts LocationThis role will be based remotely in India Karnataka Tamil Nadu Telangana Maharashtra Delhi What We OfferThere are many benefits to working at Twilio including in addition to competitive pay things like generous time-off ample parental and wellness leave healthcare a retirement savings program and much more Offerings vary by location Twilio thinks big Do youWe like to solve problems take initiative pitch in when needed and are always up for trying new things That s why we seek out colleagues who embody our values -
