This role is for one of the Weekday s clientsSalary range Rs 850000 - Rs 900000 ie INR 8 5-9 LPA Min Experience 5 yearsLocation BengaluruJobType full-timeWe are looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting The role involves managing electrical equipment across multiple sites ensuring optimal system performance and executing necessary repairs and upgrades Requirements Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems including motors AC drives VFDs transformers and electrical panels Supervise the design implementation and testing of electrical panel systems Manage switchgear operations and ensure proper functioning of electrical switchboards Design and update Single Line Diagrams SLD for various electrical systems Conduct root cause analysis on electrical faults and implement corrective measures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and minimize downtime Support electrical installations repairs and maintenance projects across multiple units Lead or assist with the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all electrical maintenance activities Conduct regular inspections to detect and address potential electrical hazards Travel approximately 60 of the time to provide on-site support across different units Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering BE 5-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance engineering preferably in industrial settings Strong knowledge of electrical motors AC drives VFDs transformers and switchgear systems Experience in electrical panel design installation and testing Proficient in creating and interpreting Single Line Diagrams SLD and electrical schematics Familiarity with electrical equipment maintenance protocols Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams Strong communication skills for effective cross-team coordination Willingness to travel frequently around 60 to support various units Preferred Qualifications Experience with automation and control systems Knowledge of energy management and efficiency improvement techniques Understanding of electrical system standards and regulatory compliance
