**Brief on the Organization**:

- Project Brief:
PHFI has been selected by the MOHFW to provide technical services as Independent Verification Agency (IVA) for “India’s Enhanced Health Service Delivery Program (EHSDP)” and “Transforming India’s Public Health Systems for Pandemic Preparedness Program” (PHSPP) under World Bank support. “DLIs are selected targets to measure progress in outputs and outcome of the program and are predefined and agreed on by World Bank and the Government of India. The achievement of the target is required to trigger payment from World Bank to MOHFW. PHFI will serve as the IVA for five years. PHFI‘s role would be to carry out independent verification of achievement of each Disbursement Linked Indicator reported by MOHFW for each disbursement claim under the program using the verification protocol to corroborate the stated facts in the DLI Claim Letter issued by MOHFW as the starting point for the verification according to a schedule to be agreed with MOHFW and the World Bank and thereby confirming whether the target has been met or not. MOHFW would aid PHFI in ensuring that the relevant departments will fully cooperate and provide all the necessary information and access to data to the team on time. PHFI will prepare and submit independent verification reports to MOHFW in a format that is mutually acceptable to both MOHFW and World Bank.
- Deliverables:
- Work closely with the Team leads, Project Lead and other key experts/technical team members for developing/generating technical reports including collecting contents, researching relevant reports and background documents to verify accuracy of technical information, data presentation and interpretation, editing language, creating graphics and statistical summaries and ensuring quality and compliance with donor requirements
- Consultant with technical teams to design overall presentation of contents, graphic elements and layout for publications as per MOHFW/donor requirements
- Work with the team to ensure consistency of documents, training team on documents usage, labelling/sorting/categorizing documents, organizing archival systems and retrieving documents upon request and ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible
- Attend and report on relevant meetings and trainings
- Perform any other relevant task assigned by Team Leads/Project Lead
- Develop work plan and project implementation activities
- Support for Documentation is required.
- Preparation of Annual Verification Reports, Detailed Work Plans, Donor Reports.
- Travel as and when required.
- Any other work assigned by the Project Lead/Project Director/MOHFW/PI of the Project.
- Qualification:
**Desirable**:

- Masters Degree in Public Health, or Communications, Journalism, Social Sciences, English Literature or related field with 5-10 years of experience.
- Post-graduate studies or PhD in Health/public health or, communication, journalism, English literature or related field.
- Excellent skills in oral and written English.
- Proven organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Documentation, copy writing and editorial skills, maintaining Data bases, secure data storage is required
- Proven experience of writing technical reports/updates, excellent written and verbal communications and ability to detail.
- Experience:
**Desirable**:

- 5 to 10 Years of relevant experience, out of which, 4 or more year’s relevant professional experience in English language copy-editing and content writing, editing, creative writing.
- Experience in health/public health or research.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi skills
- Ability to travel
- Proven experience as documentation specialist.
- Relevant professional experience in English language content writing, copy editing, editing, and creative writing.
- Experience of working with World Bank/ADB/MOHFW/at state-level with Department of Health and Family Welfare and preferable. Prior experience of working with urban health systems will be an added advantage.
