We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrumentation Incharge to oversee the instrumentation and control systems at our Thermal Power Plant (TTPS) and maintenance operations. The Instrumentation Incharge will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation equipment to optimize plant performance and reliability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, analyzers, controllers, and actuators.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment downtime and ensure continuous operation of the plant.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests of instrumentation equipment to identify faults, defects, or performance issues and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Coordinate with the operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation-related problems and optimize plant efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and procedures in all instrumentation activities to maintain a safe working environment for personnel.
- Manage inventory and spare parts for instrumentation equipment, including procurement, storage, and inventory control, to ensure availability and reliability of critical components.
- Train and mentor instrumentation technicians and operators on proper equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Keep abreast of technological advancements and best practices in instrumentation and control systems to recommend and implement improvements and upgrades as needed.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and records of instrumentation activities, including maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment histories, for management review and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and external vendors for the design, specification, and procurement of new instrumentation systems and components.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably in a thermal power plant or similar industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles, techniques, and technologies, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of instrumentation equipment and devices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid professional certification (e.g., Certified Automation Professional, Certified Control Systems Technician) is a plus.
