**Position description**: Responsible for end to end Inward and Outward logistics movement of materialunder Exports & Imports in the most cost effective and efficient manner. Responsible formanagingrelationshipswithImport-ExportagenciesincludingFreightForwarders, CHAandgovernmentdepartments

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Provide inputs towards implementation of best practice in logistics strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance for Export & Import of material.
- Plan and manage Export-Import logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, logistics providers, Freight Forwarders, Customs and other relevant government agencies.
- Support Logistics Head in negotiating rates and contracts with transportation, freight forwarders and logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance of government & internal company SOP.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
- Ensure complete documentation and compliance with government regulations and policies regarding Export and Import.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the Export & Import function, particularly Freight Forwarders and Custom officials.
- MIS reporting / Billing clearance of CHA & forwarder.
- Should be able to manage Cost reduction and process improvement projects.

**Required Knowledge**:

- 7-9 years in Export - Import Logistics function in an organization with significantamountofImportsand Exportofmaterial.**Required Skills**:
Demonstrated ability in managing Export Import logistics and documentation in anorganizationof reputehavingsignificantExport& Import.
