We are seeking a highly skilled Project Designer to join our team in Mumbai and serve as a technical and commercial representative for the Indian market.

**Role Overview**:
The Project Designer will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and overseeing complex projects in the mining sector. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, client-facing communication skills, and project management capabilities to ensure innovative, efficient, and client-centric solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Design and Technical Execution**:

- Create and manage detailed 3D designs using tools like Plant3D, SmartPlant, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
- Develop 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Design and layout mining plant facilities, including equipment for crushing, comminution, classification, and filtering.
- Draft detailed structural and civil foundation designs, as well as steel structure layouts.
- Generate and manage BOMs (Bill of Materials), unifilar diagrams, and ensure accurate document control throughout the project lifecycle.

**Knowledge of Mining Processes**:

- Integrate specialized knowledge of mining equipment and processes into designs.

**Client Engagement and Commercial Acumen**:

- Act as the Technical/Commercial Representative for Plus Natural Resources in India, fostering strong client relationships.
- Present technical designs, solutions, and business proposals to clients confidently and effectively.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure solutions are tailored to their specific needs.

**Project Coordination and Documentation**:

- Manage project documentation, ensuring adherence to review/approval cycles and strict document control standards.
- Maintain quality and accuracy across all project designs and deliverables.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proficiency in Plant3D, SmartPlant, Inventor, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of mining processes and equipment for various minerals (iron, coal, copper, phosphate, etc.).
- Proven ability to design plant layouts, civil foundations, and structural steel frameworks.
- Knowledge of DOC control systems and experience with review/approval cycles.
- Expertise in generating BOMs, unifilar diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Excellent commercial acumen with the confidence to engage and negotiate with clients.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a willingness to represent the company at a senior level.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Previous experience working in mining or heavy industries.
- Familiarity with Indian market and client engagement practices.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
