Position description

**Posting title**:

- Global Shared Services - Treasury Payments M/F

**Regular/Temporary**:

**Job description**:

- Prepare payment proposals based on strict compliance to the agreed frequency and timing with Legal Entities (“LEs”).
- Send payment proposals to relevant Local Finance personnel for review and approval and ensure inputs from Local Finance are updated in a timely manner. (Local Treasury in Italy / USA/ Asia Finance).
- Send all approved payments to bank signatories in a timely manner and ensure all payments are authorized in a timely manner in accordance with Service Level Agreement (“SLA”) with LE’s (Legal Entity).
- Ensure inter-company and external vendor/customer AP/AR net-off are captured in the system.
- Increase the adoption of electronic payments to replace cheque issuance and other automation projects.
- Identify and resolve payment issues and escalate to Payment Processing Team Lead, if required.
- Assist Payment Processing Team Lead in the update of relevant SOPs when there are changes to the process.
- Manage Audits, SOX compliances concerning Payments.
- Prepare and manage SAP Payment Proposals on behalf of ST Legal Entities

**Profile**:

- Graduate in Accounting or Business/Finance or MBA.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience
- Knowledge of Treasury Payments Process
- Prior Shared Service Centre Experience

Experience in managing Accounts Payable in SAP
- Experience in shared service environment
- Excellent command over written and spoken English.
- Good communication skills and a positive working attitude
- Able to multi-task, meticulous and a good team player
- Self-driven and able to work under pressure.
