Job Description: Inventory Coordinator (Apparel Manufacturing Company)

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team and manage the inventory operations efficiently.

Job Summary:
As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the inventory management and control processes within our apparel manufacturing company. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring a seamless flow of materials throughout the supply chain. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to collaborate effectively will be vital to the success of our inventory management operations.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Inventory Management:

- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or excesses.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly to ensure accuracy, and adjust as needed to align with production demands and sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks to identify and resolve any discrepancies.

2. Order Processing and Documentation:

- Receive, process, and verify incoming materials and products to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Generate and process purchase orders, sales orders, and transfer orders in coordination with relevant departments.
- Maintain and update inventory databases and systems to reflect accurate stock levels and transactional records.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports, including stock movement, aging, and consumption, to identify trends and make informed decisions.

3. Supply Chain Coordination:

- Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to schedule and prioritize material flow and production timelines.
- Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the supply chain that may impact inventory availability or production efficiency.

4. Documentation and Compliance:

- Maintain documentation related to inventory control processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in inventory management and control practices.
- Support internal and external audits related to inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and compliance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an Inventory Coordinator or similar role within the apparel manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and principles in inventory management is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹200,762.84 - ₹300,000.00 per year
