Associate Manger, Inventory Accounting

Position OverviewEssential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support functional area Managers based in Europe with the team management of Bangalore based accounting resources
- Prepare/review monthly detail reconciliations for various GL accounts for entities across the region.
- Prepare US GAAP and statutory journal entries and liaise with auditors and resolve audit queries.
- Support on reconciliation of sales and cogs of various channels.
- Prepare/review journal entries related to inventory accounting monthly close.
- Prepare/review forecast submission for certain inventory and cogs budget lines.
- Maintain and review documented procedures and ensure internal control compliance(SOX).
- Coordination with auditors and outsourcing partners to prepare and manage execution of European statutory audits
- Support internal and external audits (US GAAP, SOX and Statutory).
- Identify and support process improvement and efficiency enhancement opportunities.
- Assist with ad-hoc assignments and special projects as required.
