Position OverviewEssential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support functional area Managers based in Europe with the team management of Bangalore based accounting resources
  • Prepare/review monthly detail reconciliations for various GL accounts for entities across the region.
  • Prepare US GAAP and statutory journal entries and liaise with auditors and resolve audit queries.
  • Support on reconciliation of sales and cogs of various channels.
  • Prepare/review journal entries related to inventory accounting monthly close.
  • Prepare/review forecast submission for certain inventory and cogs budget lines.
  • Maintain and review documented procedures and ensure internal control compliance(SOX).
  • Coordination with auditors and outsourcing partners to prepare and manage execution of European statutory audits
  • Support internal and external audits (US GAAP, SOX and Statutory).
  • Identify and support process improvement and efficiency enhancement opportunities.
  • Assist with adhoc assignments and special projects as required.
