SAP-Ariba Quality Assurance (QA) Resource Job Description:
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Test Planning and Strategy**:
- Collaborate with development and functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies for SAP Ariba implementations.
- Identify test scenarios, data requirements, and testing environments.
2. Test Execution:
- Execute manual to validate system behavior and ensure requirements are met.
- Good to have experience in executing test scripts using TOSCA.
3. Defect Management:
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects using established defect tracking tools.
- Work closely with development teams to provide detailed defect reports and assist in their resolution.
4. Test Data Management:
- Develop and maintain test data sets that accurately simulate real-world scenarios for testing purposes.
- Ensure data privacy and security compliance while handling sensitive test data.
5. Test Documentation:
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports.
- Generate test summary reports that highlight testing results and provide insights to stakeholders.
6. Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure alignment on testing objectives and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of SAP Ariba modules (Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, Ariba Supplier Network and Invoice Processing), processes, and workflows.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP/S4 systems and integration testing is beneficial.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Ability to identify, isolate, and document defects effectively.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and defect tracking systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
