- About the Role- Develop, manage & execute a customer-focused content publishing strategy for assigned clinical products. Clearly define the content development plan per portfolio. This includes liasioning with KOLs, developing content, determining format, multimedia components, revision frequency & new products. Accountable for developing, managing and achieving budget, schedule, reporting & contract negotiation.- Responsibilities-
- Developing Clinical solutions products and programs including print, electronic and multimedia products that are aligned with overall Elsevier India strategy-
- To be able to successfully manage delivery of quality content from authors and editors in due timeframe.-
- Driving growth in the local HS publishing revenues via expansion of the local publishing program and increased focus on e-learning.-
- Continuously look for opportunities to expand and optimize the clinical solutions portfolio in line with evolving market needs-
- Developing new project ideas and revision cycles for existing projects under the guidance of the Seniors-
- Undertaking contractual negotiations with author prospects and issue final contracts after appropriate approvals from senior management.-
- Establishing a network of contacts, identify potential authors from current and emerging advise of leaders, educators and clinicians-
- Managing the yearly commissioning and publishing targets in alignment with organization growth plans-
- Ensuring collaboration with the sales team, internal partners on selling propositions of clinical solutions portfolio- Requirements-
- Be knowledgeable about Elsevier products including that of competitors.-
- Able to navigate and utilize data tools such as Google Analytics and Excel-
- Have the ability to build successful and effective working relationships with senior stakeholders, internal teams, external vendors and venues-
- Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional and publishing teams and to deliver successful initiatives-
