About the role

We are looking for a sales account executive with ~3-4 years of sales experience to join the team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a category defining start-up company. You will be immersed in a dynamic sales environment and must be willing to adapt to change. You will introduce Elucidata’s technology and solutions to senior level executives working in the life sciences sector, encompassing organizations within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and academic space. You’ll be focused on prospecting, qualifying leads, engaging with prospects, building a pipeline of opportunities, and closing business. You will work closely with the founders Abhishek Jha and Swetabh Phatak to close new opportunities. This is an outstanding opportunity to become a major contributor in a rapidly growing life sciences company.

Roles & Responsibilities
Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to new and existing customers
Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer & schedule discovery meetings with Elucidata’s technical team
Create and deliver compelling demonstrations, presenting tailored business solutions through value-selling techniques.
Effectively communicate the differentiated value of Elucidata's technology to help potential customers make informed decisions.
Collaborate with the technical team to craft proposals and contracts
Manage opportunities and leads in Elucidata’s CRM tool
Operate with a strong growth mindset and consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic to prospects, clients, partners, and colleagues.
Work hours will be US time zone (9 AM EST to 5 PM EST Monday to Friday)

Experience

Required:
SAAS sales experience, Understanding of the high-tech B2B sales processes
Bachelor's Degree (in a engineering or data science)
3-4 years of sales experience
Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
Hunter mentality who enjoys prospecting into companies
Someone who is comfortable with change and adapts well
Strong business acumen; proven ability to effectively scrutinize and challenge assumptions and interpret the strategy and priorities of the organization.
Comfortable working US time zone

Preferred:
Bengaluru or Delhi-based
Ability to sell to C-suite
Experience with lifescience products
Comfortable working for a start-up
Track record of selling services
