**Job Overview**:
A draftsman, also known as a draughtsperson, plays a crucial role in the design and construction process by creating detailed technical drawings and plans. These professionals work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate conceptual ideas into precise, accurate, and comprehensive drawings that serve as the foundation for construction and manufacturing projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Drafting and Design**:

- Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and plans based on specifications provided by architects and engineers.
- Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and other drafting tools to produce accurate and clear drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements in the drafting process.

**2. Collaboration**:

- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions into drawings to meet project specifications.

**3. Research and Documentation**:

- Conduct research to gather relevant information for drafting, including materials, building codes, and technical specifications.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.

**4. Quality Control**:

- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards before finalizing and submitting them for approval.
- Identify and address potential issues or discrepancies in the drawings.

**5. Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with project team members to ensure a clear understanding of design intent and requirements.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to provide insights and updates on the drafting progress.

**6. Continuous Learning**:

- Stay informed about advancements in drafting technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Attend relevant training sessions or workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

**7. Project Support**:

- Assist in the preparation of project estimates and budgets related to drafting activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve design-related issues during construction or manufacturing processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: A degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:Previous experience in drafting, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and other drafting tools. Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address issues in drawings and propose solutions.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines.

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
