**GPON/Switch FAE; for Realtek Semiconductors Corp. India**

**Job Overview**: xPON/Switch FAE is required to be able to code, compile, collect & analyze logs and debug; support customers technically & coordinate technical support with engineering team in HQ. This role would require travelling on-site to customer's office, lab, production floor & factory (Mumbai, Delhi NCR etc). You may also be required to attend & facilitate training sessions, & exhibitions. The job would require extraordinary communication skills to be able to understand and communicate with non-English native speakers.

**1. Responsibilities**:

- Co-work with India system developers to develop an xPON (EPON; GPON; XGS-PON) ; Switch (unmanaged, managed) products.
- Troubleshooting issues during the development and manufacturing stage for the customers.
- Provide the guide to customer for develop features in Linux kernel driver or system level features (e.g., LED/GPIO control, DHCP, iptables module, WEB) on the GPON ONU.

**2. Minimum Qualifications**:

- MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in C, shell scripting
- Experience with networking features development, e.g., Firewall, DHCP, DNS, VPN, PPPoE, QoS and chipset's HWNAT engine.
- Experience with embedded systems, Linux and Open-WRT.
- Good domain knowledge of L2/L3/GPON networking protocols.

**3. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-haves / Plus)**:

- Experience with u-boot, flash partition, file system, make-file, build system
- Experience with GPON, OMCI Protocol.
- Experience with various hardware interfaces debug/development/testing (e.g. MDIO, RGMII/SGMII/QSGMII, DDR, UART, I2C, GPIO, FLASH)
- Experience in networking concepts (e.g., VLAN, ACL)
- Experience in Realtek GPON chips development

**Salary**: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,400,000.00 per year
