Bookkeeping Assistant

Scope of the role:
We are looking for an ambitious Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily
accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the
company’s finances.
Main Responsibility and Activities:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Analyse and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers.
- Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary.
- Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies.
- Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
- Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
- Prepare income tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
Education Qualification & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related (essential).
- 3+ years’ related experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience working with general ledgers.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
- Qualifications (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) are a plus but not required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to ₹650,000.00 per year
