Scope:
Day to day accounting and reporting responsibilities, and support to internal finance teams, for various reconciliations, support for various audits and internal controls.

Key Performance Areas:

- Prepare & analyse various journal entries, preliminary trial balances & accruals.
- Review bank reconciliations, prepare intercompany reconciliations and reconcile GL accounts with respect to open items and balances.
- Support tax function with accounting entries, budget analysis and reconciliations.
- FA accounting including capitalizations, disposals & depreciation, and analysis of Fixed Assets Register and capital WIP.
- Support all audits (Statutory, Internal and Cost) and preparation of statutory financial statements and monthly management accounts.
- Support in preparation of financial and non-financial business reports - BPC and non-BPC and local consolidations.
- Support in preparation of budgets and variance analysis, and support to compile monthly MIS for presentation to the management.
- Responsible for supporting BA and Finance in the GA process and support the business in maintaining the master data.
- Support in monthly meetings with finance and non-finance stakeholders, for key updates to understand the changes in business and reporting requirements.

Internal and External Stakeholders:
Internal finance teams, Internal sales, Business controller, Auditors, Govt authorities, logistics, sales and marketing.

Your Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with min 1-3 years relevant work experience of working preferably with an MNC (manufacturing domain would be an asset)
- Exposure / knowledge of relevant Ind AS, General Accounting, reconciliations, Taxation & SAP would be an advantage.
- Exposure to handling stakeholder requirements, and basic proven experience in stakeholder management.
- Sound understanding of MS office tools - MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

This position reports to Deputy Manager - Financial Reporting within the Coromant Finance organization.
