SYSTRA India’s comprehensive know-how and expertise in Railways provides a wide spectrum of solutions for any challenge (Building a new rail link, doubling the capacity, gauge conversion, upgrading a network, improving the performance of existing lines, etc.).

Our extensive experience encompasses, Bridges, station buildings, Depots, Earthwork & Track Works, Power Supply and Transmission, Signaling & Telecommunications, Rolling Stock, Utilities diversion and yard re-modelling etc.

Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro projects across India. The position of Chief Contract Expert is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties:

- Prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms to ensure they meet the client’s needs and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure all parties adhere to the terms and conditions of the contract, and manage any changes or amendments.
- Identify potential risks in contract terms and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Track contract performance and ensure all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Chief Contract Management Expert shall monitor all Contract Management Experts.

Profile/Skills:

- Graduate in Civil/Electrical Engineering with 18+ years in Contract management in railways or railway related industry or Metro. Out of which minimum 5 years in Metro.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
- Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
- Knowledge of Indian Railway Codes & Manuals like, Engineering Code, General Conditions of Contract (GCC), EPC Contract Documents, Arbitration Acts etc., Estimates, Bid Evaluation, Contractual matters/Legal issues arising in infrastructure projects, framing of Tender & Contract Documents, Land Acquisition/ Resettlement, preparation of Bidding document, contract management /Negotiation/Dispute resolution, system improvement, etc., would be an added advantage.
