Overview:
A Flex Print Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of flexographic printing machines. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality production standards. The operator ensures that all printed materials meet client specifications and are produced efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Machine Setup and Operation**:

- Prepare and set up flexographic printing machines for each production run, ensuring correct ink colors, printing plates, and materials are used.
- Operate the flex print machines, monitoring the printing process to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
- Make adjustments to the machines as necessary to correct any issues during the printing process.
- Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production run.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine maintenance on flex print machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- **Ink and Material Management**:

- Mix and prepare inks according to specific job requirements.
- Manage inventory of inks, printing plates, and other materials, ensuring adequate supplies for ongoing production.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including job orders, material usage, and maintenance logs.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the production manager or supervisor.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with company policies and industry standards, including waste management and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

- **Experience**:

- Previous experience operating flexographic printing machines or similar equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of flexographic printing processes and techniques.
- **Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for color and quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in printing technology is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials weighing up to 25 Kilograms.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Work Environment:

- Fast-paced printing facility with exposure to ink and chemicals.
