The Senior Specialist - Nuveen Client Services conducts operational activities for the investment function, supporting the management of capital on behalf of pensions, endowments, corporate plan sponsors, and other institutional investors. Working under limited supervision, this job executes various operational processes pertinent to trade processing, settlements, securities transfer and record maintenance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Executes asset management operational processes including trade processing, settlements, and securities transfers, ensuring quality, accuracy and completeness.
- Researches complex investment account issues and resolves escalated issues.
- Participates in process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, communicating recommendations for further process improvement opportunities to management team.
- Reviews financial statements and performance reports before they are distributed to investors.
- Communicates with legal counsel and outside auditors on filings, examinations, reporting, and other related tasks as needed.
- Ensures compliance with investment restrictions, laws, Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), tax codes, and other corporate and regulatory policies when performing operational processes.

Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience
- 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred

Physical Requirements
- Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Career Level

- Must possess technical background (Preferably Bachelors in Computer Science or similar field).
- 5+ years of experience
- Coding VB, C#, Java or python.
- RPA experience using Automation Anywhere, UI path or similar tools.
- Data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
- Working with Databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL server and proficiency in SQL
- Experience Mapping processes and Data flow
- Modeling and developing robotic automations.
- Managing production RPA jobs
- Producing metrics
- Identifying and analyzing the improvements that can be made.
- Supporting users by using robots
- Creation and maintenance of Solution documents
- Supporting business teams in testing activities
- Solving the problems which arise at the day to day automation and redesign accordingly.
- Testing jobs and successfully migrating them to production
- Coming up with alternate or better practices for future development
- Must be able to multi-task with various projects on hand.
- Communication and providing a solution to any identified and potential risks.
- Identify internal and external process dependencies.
- Microsoft power platform a plus
