Role Summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of petroleum products within a designated territory. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and develop new customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and provide solutions tailored to their requirements.
- **Sales Prospecting**:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and other prospecting techniques.
- Qualify leads and prioritize sales opportunities.
- **Sales Presentations**:
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to customers.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of petroleum products.
- Address customer concerns and objections.
- **Sales Target Achievement**:
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- **Market Analysis**:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.
- Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities.
- **Negotiation**:
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers.
- Close deals that are mutually beneficial.
- **Administrative Tasks**:
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer profiles.
- Maintain accurate sales records and CRM data.
- Attend industry events and conferences.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the petroleum industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Valid driver's license.
Additional Requirements
- Experience in a petroleum & petrochemical field.
- Speak Kannada, Telugu & Marathi preferred.
- Experience in a Sales of petroleum products in Uttar Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh.
- Experience in a Sales of petroleum products in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
- Knowledge of petroleum products likes Bitumen, LDO, Base Oil, MTO etc. and industry standards.
- Certifications in sales or related fields.
