We're urgently looking for **Drama Teacher's** for **Creative School Of Drama, New Delhi** ( A unit of **Swami Haridas Sangeet Mahavidyalaya** ), the place of posting will be based at **Kanhaiya Nagar**, Delhi, India.

**Job Title**: Drama Teacher

**Job Summary**:As a **Drama Teacher**, you will be responsible for developing students' artistic and creative skills through drama and theater education. You will design and implement engaging drama lessons, direct and produce plays, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to express themselves confidently through dramatic arts.

**Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Development**: Design and develop a comprehensive drama curriculum that aligns with educational standards, caters to various age groups and skill levels, and fosters the holistic development of students.

**Lesson Planning**: Prepare well-structured and interactive lesson plans that cover different aspects of drama, including acting techniques, improvisation, script analysis, stagecraft, and theatrical history.

**Classroom Instruction**: Conduct drama classes, workshops, and rehearsals, guiding students in developing their acting, vocal, and movement skills while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

**Play Direction**: Direct and produce school plays, musicals, and theater productions, overseeing casting, rehearsals, set design, and technical aspects to ensure successful performances.

**Performance Evaluation**: Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their acting abilities and performance techniques.

**Collaboration**: Collaborate with other drama teachers, faculty members, and school administrators to organize drama festivals, talent shows, and inter-school theater events.

**Cultural Awareness**: Introduce students to diverse theatrical traditions, plays, and playwrights from various cultures, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of global drama.

**Maintain Drama Spaces**: Ensure drama classrooms, studios, and performance spaces are organized, safe, and equipped with necessary materials and resources for effective teaching and learning.

**Professional Development**: Stay updated with current trends and developments in drama education and theater arts by attending workshops, conferences, and networking with fellow drama educators.

**Parent and Community Engagement**: Communicate with parents and the community about drama activities, performances, and the impact of drama education on students' personal growth and development.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Drama, Theater Arts, Performing Arts, or related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong passion for drama and theater education, with experience in acting, directing, or stage management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Patience and empathy to work with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Organizational skills to manage drama productions, rehearsals, and events.
- Knowledge of different acting techniques, playwrights, theatrical genres, and theatrical history.
- Familiarity with technical aspects of theater, including stage lighting, set design, and sound equipment.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
