**Reporting to**: Project Manager

**1. **JOB PURPOSE**

The Hans Foundation will support Sewa Dham school in Delhi. Teacher Performing Art will be required to provide comprehensive performing arts and drama instruction by assessing individual student needs, planning engaging sessions, researching and implementing resources, coordinating school events, managing the performing arts team, and ensuring compliance with child protection policies, fostering a supportive and creative environment for students' social, emotional, and communicative development.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Visit Required 3-5 times in a week or as per requirement.
- To have good knowledge of students individual learning needs in relation to performing arts and include emotional and communication development.
- To Have excellent understanding of performing arts and Drama curriculum.
- To research and suggest appropriate resources including props and costumes for all key stages.
- To review and implement any developments to our performing Arts and Drama and assessment processes including working on school shows and productions as well as developing a group and class drama timetables of sessions that develop social and emotional understanding and communications abilities.
- To deliver high quality sessions that meet students’ needs and are fun and motivating as well for students.
- To plan and work with the wider team to deliver whole school events such as Holi, Diwali, Graduation ceremony, Annual function, Sharad Purnima, etc.
- To lead on out of school performing Arts events such as performances in Theatre & for school etc.
- To manage performing Arts and Drama Team in professional manner and observing School’s ethos and mission.
- Teaching, assessing and recording each child’s progress.
- Determining an individual learning programme for each child.
- Ensuring appropriately differentiated curriculum for each pupil.
- Developing long term planning to chosen curriculum area.
- To make full use of the resources in the school.
- To develop new resources if necessary for the curriculum delivery.

**2. Other Indicative Requirements**

**Educational Qualifications**
- Diploma/Bachelor in Performing Arts (BPA)
- dance, drama and music/ similar qualification

**Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioural, Language, Certifications etc.)**
- 3 to 5 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Basic computer skills.
