Located in Sion, Mumbai and Delhi, we have influenced the lives of 350+ exceptional students through our dedicated and unconventional approach towards deaf-education. Our 3-Dimensional Holistic Development Model integrates Bilingual Methodology, skill development, and personality development to foster comprehensive understanding, career readiness, and positive behavioral attitude.
**Role Description**
The Academic Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of academic activities within the college. This position involves coordinating and overseeing various aspects of the academic curriculum, student assessments, faculty development, and educational initiatives. The Academic Coordinator collaborates with faculty, students, and administrators to enhance the overall academic experience and performance of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development and Implementation:
- Ensure the effective implementation of the curriculum, aligning it with educational standards and institutional goals.
2. Academic Planning and Scheduling:
- Plan and schedule classes, examinations, and other academic activities.
- Coordinate with faculty members to create a well-organized academic calendar.
3. Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
- Oversee the assessment process, including examinations, quizzes, and projects.
- Monitor students' academic progress and work with teachers to address any concerns.
4. Faculty Development:
- Identify training needs for faculty members and organize workshops or training sessions.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning among the teaching staff.
5. Student Support and Guidance:
- Provide academic counseling and guidance to students facing academic challenges.
- Collaborate with counselors and support staff to address students' academic needs.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for academic programs.
- Conduct periodic reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with educational standards.
7. Communication and Collaboration:
- Facilitate effective communication between faculty, students, and administration.
- Collaborate with other academic coordinators and administrators for cross-functional initiatives.
8. Record Keeping and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of academic performance, attendance, and other relevant data.
- Generate and analyze reports to assess the effectiveness of academic programs.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
