**Aufgaben**:

- Role: Network Security Consultant
- Organization: Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Pvt Ltd.
- JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Analyze network diagrams and traffic patterns to understand current design
- Establish and document global architecture standards and for Mercedes-Benz network security
- Oversee projects implementing security controls over Mercedes-Benz network
- Bring in automation in network security
- Consult the different business teams and translate the requirements into technical documents
- Act as a single point of contact for all technical actions in network security
- Drive architectural / technical discussions and projects around network security
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring
- Provide on
- call service during out of business hours for approvals and escalated issues- Define and verify log fields for different use-cases, that are defined by Cyber Security team

Experience: 10-12 years
- Qualification: Bachelor in Engineering (B.E) or equivalent with relevant certifications in network security
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of network segmentation concepts, the Zero Trust security model and related security controls
- Extensive experience on NextGen firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet) and the different feature sets
- Experience with Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
- Extensive experience on Internet proxy solutions (cloud based and on premise)
- Knowledgeable on routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP and OSPF
- Working knowledge of switch, ACLs, VRFs, and VDCs.
- Integration experience with CMDB, fault monitoring systems, orchestration systems etc.
- Expertise with SIEM tools (eg: Splunk)
- Deep understanding of Data Center and campus Network Architectures, industry standards and architectural principles
- Deep understanding of Software Defined Networking and its purpose
- In-depth knowledge on SD-WAN solution and practical knowledge on large scale roll out
- Deep understanding of Software Defined Networking and its purpose in the private cloud / on premise hosting
- Expertise on securing data in motion (site-to-site vpn, client-to-site vpn, IPSec, web VPN, tunneling)
- Exposure to large scale network security transformation programs
- Exposure to automotive shopfloor infrastructure is an added advantage

Knowledge / Skillset:
- Translate complex technical concepts into digestible diagrams and presentations for management
- Ability to create detailed diagrams and documents for hand-off to engineering and ops teams
- Provides leadership and works effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated and driven to deliver quality solutions on-schedule
- Responsive to internal and external partners and proactively address needs
- Strong organizational, analytical and customer service skills
- Project Management, Vendor Management; Relationship Management

**Qualifikationen**:
Understand the CRM ,Offer & Ordering business processes and encourage best practices - liaise with the business resources in all channels (Sales company departments, wholesale, retail, e-commerce partners) to understand the business strategy and document the business requirements and Develop process flows - Collaborate with the Project IT teams to implement the defined solution - Facilitate and Engage Customers in User acceptance testing - Prepare & Communicate the tasks for supplier development teams and ensure high quality deliverables from suppliers - Manage and track the status of Change requirements throughout the project lifecycle enforce and redefine as necessary - Ensuring appropriate use of Daimler IT project management tools, governance, processes, policies and methodologies - Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder
