Network Security Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Notice period: 15 to 30 days


Responsibilities

  • Perform security assessments and penetration testing.
  • Develop and implement offensive cybersecurity strategies.
  • Analyse network traffic and identify potential threats.
  • Write and update Suricata or Snort signatures for threat detection.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance network security protocols.


Qualifications

  • Offensive cybersecurity experience.
  • Working knowledge of Networking Protocols.
  • Experience composing Suricata Signatures (Snort is acceptable but less preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Network Security
  • Graduate degree in Engineering or Computer science.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP.
  • Experience with network security tools and software.
  • Knowledge of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.
