**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and tissue specimens, using automated and manual techniques.

2. Prepare specimens for analysis, including centrifugation, pipetting, and staining, following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.

3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper calibration, performance, and cleanliness.

4. Analyze test results, interpret findings, and accurately record and report data to healthcare providers in a timely manner.

5. Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures, results, and patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

6. Monitor inventory levels of reagents, supplies, and consumables, and assist in ordering and restocking as needed.

7. Adhere to quality control and quality assurance protocols, including proficiency testing, calibration verification, and instrument maintenance.

8. Follow established safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and biohazardous waste.

9. Collaborate with other laboratory staff, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.

10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay updated on new technologies, techniques, and regulations in the field of laboratory medicine.

**Requirements**:
1. Associate degree or certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.

2. [Specify Experience Required] years of experience working as a Medical Laboratory Technician in a clinical laboratory setting.

3. Certification or licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT) preferred.

4. Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and instrumentation, with proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.

5. Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

6. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

8. Commitment to quality, accuracy, and patient safety, with a strong understanding of laboratory regulations and compliance standards.
