Job Title**:Commis 1 - Food & Beverage Production**

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and production of food items as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality of food products.
- Handle and store food products in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, including HACCP standards.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely production of food orders.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Participate in training programs and skill development initiatives to enhance culinary knowledge and proficiency.
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, teamwork, and communication within the kitchen brigade.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; culinary or hospitality degree/diploma preferred.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, such as culinary internships, apprenticeships, or entry-level kitchen positions, is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety principles and practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse kitchen team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by the operation.
- Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary profession.
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
